YR # 95 :: rAXYOr - Scourging InundationExploring more of the intensive edges of music, rAXYOr releases a highly (un)stable LP containing ten and one madelicious and violentl abstract breakcore tracks dragging you down Adrena Lane, indulging a trip beyond measure through deep and mostly haunting and insane atmospheres, all accompanied by an overdose of controlled, yet chaotic broken beats. Scourging Inundation breathes destruction and despair and manages to balance on the thin and razor sharp edge between randomness and genious beatmanipulation. A release to swallow whole as it offers a musically intense journey for you to bounce on. www.yomirecords.com/yrtwo/95-ep.html

first of all, i'd like to welcome rAXYor to yomirecords...
second of all, i thank him for laying this piece of sparking and bloody rotten meat onto us, in a form of a round imaginary disc, called a CD or preferbly, a LP. From the first second to the last one it has been more then just enjoyable. It sounds like the human race malfunctioning horribly, and the perfect world damage and it's aftermath is translated into music, wich outputs the whole of your LP.
One tiny minor in my oppinion. After the 6th track i kinda realised that what i was listening to sounded somewhat the same as the track before... and track before that... and before that one even. For me it kinda lacked playfull songbuilding, wich will make everything sound like ooonnneee horribly long and the same track.
Only positive things, except one minor point. I have no favorite tracks on this LP (i hardly ever have favorites), i loved them all from the first second off and alot of parts litterally moved me out of my seat, and most parts made my head move out of it's current alignment with the rest of my organs.
All in all it doesn't make me put the whole album on repeat though, but i'm sure it'll be blasting tomorrow again.
Big up rAXYor

apologies you did not approve of the format, it IS supposed to be one long soundtrack.... track titles are meaningless.

An alien sent the knowledge of how to program these beats to Raxyor's brain so that he would be able trick tired and disillusioned human beings into thinking that immortality is possible.
These beats are not made with human wisdom alone. Something else is at work. --------------- Seriously man, are you programming to iterate some existising groove structure ? Do you trigger these loop chops live or are you meticulously groove quantizing them inside of a PC?
